My wife and I are caring for her mom, at our house, when we found out she had dementia. After many sleepless nights trying to figure out what was the best for her we contacted Valerie. Valerie was amazing, after listening to our situation she quickly developed a short & long term. Short term Valerie helped us get established with senior connection who provided us with the necessary supplies and an aide to assist with her care for 35 hours/wk. Long term we decided that Medicaid would be best so Valerie advised us of several options to protect her assets while meeting the Medicaid criteria. Next she filed the paperwork and when they tried to deny the application, she requested a hearing and before the hearing took place she educated them on their own laws and got the approval.
